Termination and Refund Policy for Life Coaching Services
1. Termination of Services:
a. Client Termination: Clients may choose to terminate their life coaching services at any time for any reason. Termination must be communicated in writing via email or a formal letter.
b. Life Coach Termination: The life coach may terminate the coaching relationship under the following circumstances:
- If the client engages in behavior that is harmful, unethical, or violates the agreed-upon coaching guidelines.
- If the client fails to make payments for coaching services as outlined in the coaching agreement.
- If it is determined that the client's goals or needs are outside the scope of the life coach's expertise, and it is in the best interest of the client to seek services elsewhere.
- If the client repeatedly fails to engage actively in the coaching process, hindering progress.
2. Refund Policy:
a. Client-Requested Termination: In the event of client-initiated termination, the following refund policy applies:
- No refunds will be provided for coaching sessions that have already taken place.
- If the client has prepaid for a package of coaching sessions, any unused sessions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, deducting the cost of completed sessions at the standard hourly rate.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the written termination notice.
b. Life Coach Termination: If the life coach terminates the coaching relationship due to reasons outlined in section 1(b) (Life Coach Termination), the client will receive a refund for any prepaid sessions that have not been conducted.
3. Administrative Fees:
a. A nominal administrative fee may be deducted from any refund amount to cover processing and handling costs. The amount of this fee will be specified in the coaching agreement.
4. Dispute Resolution:
a. In the event of a dispute regarding termination or refunds, both the client and the life coach agree to engage in good-faith efforts to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation and mediation if necessary.
5. Confidentiality:
a. All information regarding the termination and refund process will be kept confidential by both the client and the life coach, except as required by law.
6. Amendments to Policy:
a. This Termination and Refund Policy for Life Coaching Services may be updated or modified from time to time. Clients will be informed of any changes in writing or via email.
